If given the option, which would be your preferred method for your child to learn chess?
Most parents instinctively opt for 'B' and for good reason...
A social environment is a healthy environment that encourages collaboration which in turn enables children to learn from one another.
A social environment is a healthy environment that encourages collaboration which in turn enables children to learn from one another.

That's why we designed Griditch with the the classroom in mind. We extensively user tested Griditch in a real school environment to ensure it met both the teachers and students expectations. Our findings led us to prioritise and ensure the product met the following user requirements:
- Inclusive
- Intuitive
- Indestructible (virtually)
- Inexpensive
Inclusive

No two children learn in the same way. We all learn in different ways and tend to lean towards a preferred modality. Griditch is accessible to the visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learner and an inclusive classroom creates an environment in which every student has the opportunity to flourish.
Intuitive

The Griditch programming language is super easy for anyone to understand and within seconds you'll be creating fun and challenging games. However, as your computational thinking skills develop, you'll soon discover clever ways of creating and solving more complex challenges.
Indestructible

Children break things! It's why parents and teachers love Lego - those bricks are virtually indestructible and when accidents happen the fun doesn't stop. We took a leaf out of Lego's book when designing Griditch - components are constructed from robust plastic designed to withstand the inevitable rough and tumble of the classroom.
